- SM Operating Guide, Reference manual for SM-Super
Miniature Digital Hybrid Wireless transmitter used on television shows (Oprah, Desperate Housewives, etc.) and
other entertainment companies.
- Section 8, DATA DIRECTOR, a chapter
from a software manual for a multi-computer electronic test system, covers both hardware and software concepts.
The original was developed on a UNIX-based system. This version was scanned into MS Word 2000 and Adobe
Photoshop 5.0, then imported into Adobe Framemaker 6.0. (PDF 1.7M)
- SDMS Help Application and Reference Guide - selections from the printed aspect of a single
source project (on line help and user guides) for a Spatial Data Base Management System (SDMS) developed by
BLM-Alaska. SDMS sould ultimately digitally record all legal land surveys performed in Alaska on Federal lands
since pre-statehood. Three publications, in addition to two online Helps, were produced using RoboHelp to develop the source code. The SDMS Reference Guide focused
on the interface and processes for entering survey and ownership data into the data base. The SDMS Web Users Guide was
designed to assist individuals accessing SDMS from a BLM public site. The SDMS Quick Reference Guide was designed as a
handout for individuals accessing the data base from the Internet. It would be available at BLM public access sites, or
downloadable from BLM-Alaska.
- SDMS Reference Guide, Introduction - Introduces the concepts behind SDMS and the user interface data
entry personnel would use to enter, edit and verify data.
- SDMS Reference Guide, Rectangular Surveys - Describes the process used to enter rectangular survey data.
- SDMS Web Users Guide, Introduction - Introduces SDMS to web users and describes steps required to navigate BLM
website.
- SDMS Web Users Guide, Query Tools - Introduces Internet users to the query tools available for searching
and retrieving information from SDMS.
- SDMS Quick Reference Guide - a double sided quick reference sheet to help users at BLM public access portals.>
